MARYSVILLE, Wash. – The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office marine unit will hold a free class, “Adventures in Boating,” for boaters who wish to earn their Washington State boater education card on Sunday, May 3 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the North Precinct (15100 40th Ave NE, Marysville).  Washington state law requires that anyone 58 years-old and younger who will operate watercraft with at least 15 horsepower engines have the card.  The class will feature vessels from the marine unit for an interactive, hands-on experience.
